Religious and patron saints Ongoing Solenni Festeggiamenti in onore della Beata Vergine Maria di Costantinopoli
📍 San Biase (CB)
The community of San Biase renews its devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Constantinople with ten days of celebrations blending liturgy and popular tradition. From August 30 to September 9, the town comes alive with the novena, solemn masses, and a procession through the center.
The heart of the festival is September 8, the Nativity of Mary: the band accompanies the morning celebrations, the collection of offerings, and the solemn mass, while in the evening the statue of the Madonna processes through the town, followed by a band concert. In the days before and after, there are moments of gathering: games in the square with tastings, musical performances, and an evening with pizza. The festival closes on September 9 with a mass at the cemetery in suffrage of the deceased and a final musical entertainment.
