The Municipality of San Giovanni in Galdo celebrates its Patron Saint John the Baptist with an event taking place from 27 to 29 August 2026. The program includes the setup of a stage in Via Fiorentini and Largo Fiorentini on 27 August, followed by festive evenings on 28 August with music and entertainment. On 29 August, a solemn religious procession will be held through the streets of the town center, starting from Via Roma and passing through the main squares and streets.

On Sunday, August 31, 2026, San Giovanni in Galdo bids farewell to summer with the 26th edition of the "Sagra della Pasta e Polpette". The festival is dedicated to the most representative dish of the local cuisine: "Past e Plpètt", pasta and meatballs prepared according to recipes handed down from generation to generation. At the stands set up for the festival, you can taste this local specialty, enjoy an evening of conviviality, and have fun in company, breathing the authentic atmosphere of Molise traditions.
