Consiglio Comunale delle Ragazze e dei Ragazzi: election of representatives
Scuole primarie e secondarie di primo grado di Termoli
Organised by Comune di Termoli
On 13 November, students from the primary and lower secondary schools of Termoli go to the polls to elect their representatives to the Consiglio Comunale delle Ragazze e dei Ragazzi. Eleven lists have been submitted in the schools, with 112 candidates who in recent weeks have taken part in debates and election campaigns to win over their classmates. Six councillors will be elected in the primary schools and 15 in the lower secondary schools, 21 in total. The elected councillors will then choose, in a subsequent vote, the youth mayor and deputy mayor. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Termoli, in collaboration with local schools, to give young people a space for discussion and debate on the issues that concern them.
